Buffering during prime

by fig966

I'm new to IPTV and I use Smart IPTV on Smart tv. I just noticed, durint prime time, some channels buffer/lagg/Not work at all. Usally when there is a big sporting event.

Is this normal?

This is pretty common, but not the rule. I'm sure some iptv providers are better than others. Avoid any $5.00 iptv.

I would say yes the problem is with your provider. $25 for a full year wont give you much. Most of the decent iptv providers charge $10 to $15 per month and even then you often get a bit of buffering during major events.

Trying less well known sports channels normally fixes any issues.

You paid $25 for the year and are wondering why there is buffering. Most reliable services are $10-$20 per month. AliExpress is great for a backup service

Sometimes a VPN can help

Ask. Your. Provider.

Could be a bunch of things, if you have cable internet, it could be bandwidth sharing. Could be the service is getting more traffic then it can handle. (Especially with big events). Could be a routing hop is overloaded bc traffic is bring rerouted bc others are down, or just failing/old equipment in general. It's hard to tell with just the info given

If it's during prime time, it'll probably be your provider we need more info if we are to help...

If it's a playlist you bought and not through a provider then the links could be a mish-mash of different sources, so any number could be buffering. Apologies.

More likely your provider. Don't forget if it's football, F1 or any major sports. There is 50,000+ more viewers watching the event that would be at that event due to C19

Most providers will offer alternate links/streams for major sporting events. See if this is so with your M3U Link.

Who doesn’t want cheaper IPTV? Stable service and no freeze are the reasons why some IPTV services are expensive.
