For those with AT&T fiber, any issues with streaming?

I've got the gig service $40 cheaper a month than comcast with a symmetrical 900+ down and up to and from the server. Nvidia Shield hardwired I get 900 down 900+ up i have no issues: Kodi, Plex, Cinema HD, Tivimate you name it best decision I ever made

No problems with AT&T gigabit fiber here. I would strongly recommend investing in your own router to put behind their gateway modem and disable wifi on the gateway.

Your speed to the server will determine that more than anything

I have gig with att now. There was throttling during the beginning at covid since everyone just started working from home. But since then, there has been large improvment and no lagging and throttling. Hasn't happened since May.

That being said, I would recommend getting a good VPN service so that if there was throttling, you can bypass that to a different hub.

No issues at all.

No issues with gigabit fiber in the midwest. I have noticed some peering issues with some providers in the past if the servers were only in Europe. No throttling at all. The only buffering that I notice are service related and usually just during big events.

Yes I have att fiber and lately it has been buffering quite a bit. Yes I have a vpn

I had at&t for 10+ years. Got feed up and went with Xfinity bought my own modem and router. WAY better now. Getting 3x faster speeds and paying the same still. Have 3 Nvidia Shields and a 4K Tivo Stream. All running at the same time with no issues.

The thing with at&t you're stuck using their crappy equipment. With Xfinity you can buy your own

At&t is ass. I wouldn’t even risk it. Used it years ago and it was slow af with the highest package they had for consumers.
