I was testing a 2020 model Samsung TV today in a store and was checking if it is possible to install Smart IPTV. It is not available, but there were about 7 other "IPTV" apps. I don't remember the names of them but it may also depends on the country.

Got it working, really impressed with how well it works once you get it set up. Took some time but much faster and simpler than other alternatives. I love not having to use the fire stick and how it allows you to make a favorites group. Channel browsing is quick and stream less. Smart IPTV
I use Smart IPTV on my Samsung. Very little buffering issues and it's all setup through their web interface. ( https://siptv.eu/howto/ ) There is a once off nominal fee to use it but I haven't had any issues with my IPTV provider. Give me a shout if you decide to use it and run into any issues 👍
Do not rely on your Smart TV for running apps to view IPTV. Buy yourself a box like a Formuler Z8 and save yourself a headache.
