I have a IPTV box. The issue i have is that the box lags when streaming,its annoying. My provider is getting a new 4k box with a faster processor. The new box does load faster then the old box.
Can this new faster processor box fix the issue with the lag?
I dont want to buy the box,but still have issues with the lag.
You don't have to stick with your provider's boxes, in fact you should avoid it at all cost as those kind of providers usually use shitty chinese boxes. Go for a firestick, a mi box or even better a shield if your budget allows for it.
Better spec box certainly can improve your streaming. Would be a good start to post the spec of your current box and the one that the provider suggest, to know if the issue is with your box or not
What do you mean lag? Do you mean your IPTV stream buffers? Or do you mean the user interface (the menus, graphics, etc) lag?
A faster processor can def help with the user interface lag, but unlikely to make a difference with IPTV stream buffers (that's more likely an issue with your provider or your network)
A newer processor will do nothing for you...
However it's possible a newer operating system will give you better support for newer apps.
But it won't help your stream.
