I got this box when they were released. Been through many different servers. It keeps dying now even after default setting > upgrade. Anyone recommend the Nvidia Shield Pro? I heard you can make your own MAC address and emulate STB. Can u pause and play on live tv to?

you can use Plus TV Box which the latest Mag with Android 7.1
Instead of that, i would go with Formuler Z8, it has a very good custom STB called MyTVOnline 2 or DreamLink T3
Both has very nice EPG, quite zippy, also a M3U that works. Android 7.0 that can Cinema HD with RD yes it can do pause live TV called time shift.
i take that any day over nVidia Shield Pro, nVidia is great for Netflix etc
Hi with Nvidia Shield Pro and CosmiDVR you can emulate STB and you can use services with MAC Address and you can pause, rewind and forward live tv.

You need to enter portal info manually. The initial set up is very easy. The MyTvOnline app is very user friendly.
