Smart stb app on Samsung tv

Hi all,

Just this week renewed license for smart stb app.

We have two tv's so bought two licenses.

Both Are samsung smart TV.

Older one- entered our new portal- everything working fine.

Newer TV - we are getting the oops cant play this error message. Both Tv have a wired connection to the same router, only difference being the one that's not working goes through a network junction box.

Connected the newer tv to hotspotting from my phone and the app worked perfectly.

Any ideas why the Smart stb is not working on the newer TV with wired connection connection?

Just to add we didn't have any problem with this tv using our old portal.

Your tvs MAC address is not the same when it's wired than when the connection is wireless.

So if you gave a MAC address to activate your account while your TV was connected wirelessly, it will have changed once you plug in the TV.
