What is the best to use? Formular Z8 or is it worth it for the Niveda Shield?
We have the z8 but now I wish we had a shield for movie streaming
2 very different devices that fit different needs. Z8 is an Iptv box first and foremost. It can run some apps fine but get the z8 if all you use is Iptv. If you have other uses the get shield.
If you can save in the short run I would highly recommend future proofing with a Shield TV in any model. I have both the current Pro and Tube for my main TV's. FS for all my other secondary.
Am using Formular Z8 for 2 years now , for some providers it did not work well , for the past 12 + months ive been using it with streamsflix provider and no issues , EPG sometimes get stuck but fixed later, in General Z8 is the best choice test with your provider first
I have an Nvidia Shield as my “media hub” and it’s absolutely fucking amazing. All my various video services apps like Netflix, YouTube, prime, along with my IPTV app
It’s a dream of a box and I’d highly recommend it.
Hands down Nvidia Shield Pro is the fucking bomb! Amazing.
If you have $200, worth the investment!
Formuler z8 can be used for all your m3u services and mag/mac/stb services. Shield can be set up with an stb emulator but why not have the real deal at a cheaper price.
If you're in the $200 price range then Shield Pro/tube would be the best device I would recommend for you to get.
Full Android TV OS is hard to beat + AI upscaling is amazing.
