Hello, I'm interested in an android box strictly for IPTV and Netflix. I will not be doing anything else with it. From what I understand from research, other than the Shield, these 3 are good options. I'm in Canada so my prices are higher for context.
Of those 3 which should I buy? Or is there any other option I should consider. The Firestick 4k is $70 but I'm not sure how good it is for IPTV.

I used to own a Formuler box. Overpriced for the hardware. Since implayer has almost the same interface and functions, I would not buy it. I still have Buzz XRS 4000 and it is a decent box; using it in bedroom ( main box is Nvidia Shield TV). Can’t comment on Mi, used to have one but don’t like not having Ethernet port. For the money, Firestick 4K is great. And if you need a box for IPTV only well wort the money. Just pain to set it up.
Or TiVo 4K stream.
Firestick 4K is awesome for iptv. I use it myself.
Firestick 4K hands down.
Skip the fire stick 4k since you're already considering spending more money and get yourself a fire cube. It works a thousand times better and it has Amazon echo built into it allowing you to use it to control your smart house if you plan to make your home smart.
I had a lot of boxes but the Amazon Fire stick is my favorite
Netflix is NOT good on the formuler z8.
Mi Box S is $70, not 130.
It is more than enough for IPTV and streaming in general.
Dont buy a Z8 for Netflix, it doesn't have Widevine since its not a certified device so you won't be getting Netflix in HD.
official netflix releases may not be supported on some of the boxes you listed. I made the same mistake a couple years ago when I had a Buzz box. Switched to a Shield and would never go back. As others have stated, FIrestick or Shield are the best options if you want stable, consistent performance.
The cheapest one available. The original mibox3 jas worked great from day 1. But none of these are getting updates anymore.
Tivo 4K Stream is better than the Mi Box (very laggy) and 4K Firestick IMO and only costs $50 as well. But if using for IPTV I would get something than can be hardwired
Instead of the Buzz XRS4000 get the better XRS4500. It has loads of memory.Firesticks are good for their price. The Buzz is an actual IPTV box n much better device than the Firestick. The Fire cube would be good too. I have used them all. I just sell the Firesticks cause they’re much cheaper.

If you want the closest to a set top box, get the formuler, their new remote is really good but I don't know which box it comes with.
Mi Box will do fine. Its a lot cheaper than your original post, if you look around.
If you really need to enjoy watching TV none of this boxes go by nvidia shield TV
4K firestick will do the trick much cheaper
I would wait for Sabrina. If you are in a hurry i would go with the TiVo stick.
Shield + tivimate = pure bliss.

You simply will not find a more solid device and most frequently kept updated box than the nVidia Shield TV. Some people are on legacy Shield TV boxes from 5 years ago and still get regular updates like clockwork. You'll go through ten cheap Chinese boxes before your Shield dies.
TiVo stream is way better than firestick 4K in my opinion. Easier to load stuff and better WiFi I have 5 firestick 4Ks and 1 TiVo stream and love the TiVo
Mi Box S is perfect as it is a Android TV with built-in chrome cast. You can also run VPN on it. Got mine for $45 from Walmart ;)

I personally use T95 Max (6K) with 4GB RAM for clients and MX-10 4K (4GB also but Rooted with RK3328).
I didn't try those boxes but I know that those I mentioned are more than enough. IPTV/Netflix requires very little processing actually it's all about throughput and graphics being SoC (service on-chip) Takes care or any concerns you might have. Use an Ethernet Cable for better reliability and save some money, that's my advice.
Or, if you really want the mother of all Beasts look for the chip RK3399 and you'll be happy
If you do Netflix in 4K go firestick 4K....use iMPlayer or tivimate for iptv...best option imo
