No groups in channels, can't enable autoupdate

by kospan90

Hello, recently i paid for a subscription and the problem was that in the URL the provider sent me, there were so many thousands channels inside and so many VODS that my TV was freezing a lot.

I searched and I found a program that I could manage/delete channels I want. I did this but the problem now is that the

  1. The source was a URL, and now after managing it I could only save it as a file (.m3u). I saved it and upload it at my Ottplater playlist

  2. When I upload the file in Ottplayer to watch at my TV, there are no group channels any more. There is a big mess with channels + vods.

  3. I can't enable the autoupdate function in the Ottplayer playlist (that's because the source is a file?)

So, I guess the only solution is to ask the provider to make for me a new URL with the desired country channels I need? Can I fix these by myself?

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad ENG :)

Try Tivimate best app out there and will do what you need.

Change "&type=m3u" to "&type=m3u_plus" in your m3u url and you will have the groups.

Try looking into xtream editor. I think it's what you are after.

Xtreme editor or preferably TiViMate should work for what you want.

You could edit the m3u file before you upload it , using notepad. The channels will be in sections for what would be the bouquets. You can rearrange them to get all your favourite channels at the top of the list and remove all the sections you don't want.

Rwin01

change url format from m3u to m3u_plus

Ask your reseller to remove categories you don't need. They may or may not have the ability to do it.
