Anonymous payment

EDITED TO CLARIFY: I'M TALKING ABOUT PAYMENT FOR IPTV, NOT VPN.

If going through the hassle of a VPN etc, it would seem crazy to then pay by CC or paypal. I thought I had found the answer in prepaid credit cards, but most providers go through paypal and I just can't get paypal to take prepaids (I do register them beforehand). They still don't seem to allow it.

I thought another option would be bitcoinATM but, along with the high transaction costs, it seems they also require KYC upfront - selfie, driving licence scan etc.

I have a bitcoin account that I haven't used yet. I had to do KYC to set it up. Although not anonymous, would this offer any more protection over, say, paypal? Assuming that I can't truly find an anonymous way of paying?

I'm in Canada btw.

Highly recommend Privacy.com . I use it often and it works like a charm.

Depends on the bitcoin ATM . One in town where I'm at only asks for a phone number, then you put in the code it texts you. A $20 burner works for that.

There is another bitcoin ATM in town that passed to be like that, but wants to scan your driver license bar code. I don't use that one any more.

Depends who you are trying to hide your traffic from, for me using a VPN is just a way to unlock content my ISP blocks and to stop them seeing torrent traffic etc.. privacy from a VPN provider isn't my main concern at all. I just don't want my IP in torrent swarms (leading to possible emails about torrents from ISP) and to be able to access anything I want, that may of been blocked by my ISP.

I guess you could use BTC but they will always have your IP regardless.

In Canada, paypal only take vanilla mc & vanilla visa, not prepaid visa & mc. Seed your fake paypal account with vanilla mc or vanilla visa. It still works. I seeded my fake paypal account about 2 weeks ago.

I definitely agree with https://privacy.com/ and you can go to BINList.net and type in the first 6 digits of the card and it will display the "type" usually. This is how the banks block specific types of cards because they are determined by the BIN assigned to the provider. Under AML/KYC laws many business types are prohibited from taking prepaid cards because of money laundering regulations (AML).
