My questions is simple, since I got a IPTV Subscription and I wanted to use Smarters IPTV on FireTV but I'm not sure if the VPN certificate that you add in the application does really protect you or not.
Anyone has tested it?

Smarters works on a firestick absolutely, I am not sure what you mean by VPN certificate, I have a VPN on my Firestick its Ipvanish and works great
Some iptvs buffer like crazy without vpn in Usa. I use Netherlands or Canada and it works good with some of them. I have ipvanish. Try other media players other than smarters. I use ott navigator or tivimate and just found Lxtream player handles the streams better. Good luck
Idk where ur at but if if ur in the USA u don't need to run a vpn unless ur isp is throttling ur speeds
