IPTV Recording Sizes

Hi All,

Quick question regarding the recording size of IPTV.

I've recently got an android box and will be setting up recording for it - mainly for sports events I miss while out.

Going to hook up a 320gb hard drive - fairly certain that's going to be fine for my needs.

But I'm still curious as to how much space a football/soccer match or lets say an F1 race would take up - I don't imagine much but if anyone knows that would be great.

It would depend on the bit-rate but based on recordings that I have done (720p/60fps) average around 3GB per hour.

I did the cricket once. 6-7 hrs and it was 11GB.

All depends upon bitrate of feed a 1080 with 50fps feed would be around 5 GB

What app do you use for recording/scheduling? Haven't been able to set up something on my android TV yet
