Hey guys
i have been using my amzon fire TV 4k box since it came out in 2015 and i am now looking for an upgrade. the two i have seen a lot about are the Buzz XRS4500 and Formuler Z8 , my question is which is better from what i read the XRS4500 is newer and from looking has slightly better spec 4gb ram, more storage and a newer android version. what do you guys think ? or do you have an alternatives ?

I like both but I think the z8 has less issues
Z8 is the way to go in my opinion,no need for a shield if you only gonna use for tv,if you going to do gaming then that's a different story....
Z8 or T3 all the way buzz picture are much softer and more glitch due android 9 android 7 is more stable.
Hisilicon chipset also makes z8 /t3 much sharper quality pictures 👍
Z8 hands down as everyone else says.
If your talking for mainly iptv via their dedicated app and couple third party apps then I would vote for Formuler z8 over a buzz xrs (I have both but the xrs4000 not the 4500)
mol2 is a lot smoother, better and more tv based features than buzz tv. 100% z8 over the buzz if for that.
Buzz is faster on stuff like kodi scraper addons, better for tivimate and such like due to faster processor and benchmarks, but as an iptv box go for the z8.
Remember if been using official apps on the your FireTV, be noted that official apps are dogshit on both the above and majority require air mouse as mobile apps, if using official apps a lot keep a device solely for that imo. Best of both worlds
if you have smart tv don't buy any box,just use duplex iptv.
i have both z8 & firestick4k but the sound on lg cx not good (valume must be up to 80)
when using duplex app the valume between 20-30 maximum
Those boxes are really good for mag/mac type services that offer English and foreign content and will have Epg, Vod and catchup for a lot of languages. If your just going to use you box for mainly English content and use m3u and apk type services, then Shield may be the way to go. Also if you don't mind Foreign content with no guide, then other android boxes like the Shield would be a good choice. There is stbemu emulator for android boxes but it's just not as good as the real deal. I'm referring to Buzz and Formuler.

If I’m the only one to say this I’ll be surprised. I’ve owned 7-8 different devices. Shields, Amazon Sticks, MiBox S’s, TiVo Streams, etc.
First stick with something that has legit Android TV and you can rest easy knowing it’ll get fastest support and upgrades.
Second buy a Shield and disregard any buyers remorse as you’ll never regret doing so. After the shield I gotta say the new TiVo Stream. Is a huge bang for the buck and it’s Android TV. I’ve got one Shield Pro (is a Plex server also) and TiVo Streams throughout the house and one just for traveling...
