I just ordered a wifi adaptor for my iptv and apparently needs a driver therefore does not work as the box doesn't register it as a suitable device.
Can I get some suggestions (preferably on amazon) on those that work and that aren't extortionately expensive.

If it is a mag or enigma2 box, get a wireless adapter which uses the rt5370 driver. Those boxes will recognize those adapters.

Are home plugs an option? Much better than using WiFi for IPTV?
Its not really possible to answer this one without the make and model of the box.
Most usb wifi adaptors only work on windows, mac and maybe Linux, what does this adaptor say its compatible with?
Wire it up and save yourself more troubles later
