What host service you are using for hosting your guide.xml from WebGrab?

by Super_Govedo

I synced WebGrab folder to Google Drive and created share link for guide.xml and put it in TiviMate, not working. (I created full modify access link)

I then synced whole WebGrab folder with MEGA Cloud and link from guide.xml is not working in TiviMate either and other IPTV apps as well.

How I can automatically sync WebGrab's guide.xml to cloud after grabbing every day and use same download link on my Smart TV, Tablet, Phone that will actually work, TiviMate shows successful refresh for 0 channels.

How you host your EPG file? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use GitHub

triplebeamz

i mean you can buy any cheap host. but github worked for me as well , jsut do a url redirect to the raw file link

nicegypt

use Dropbox for developers. it's free and works great.

I host mine on onedrive. U have to make sure the link is downloadable. That means when tivimate loads the epg it can download the xml file. Check on internet how to create a downloadable link using Google drive and not just sharable

If you use google drive or dropbox you need to generate a direct download link to the shared file :)

I bought a cheap Raspberry Pi. It grabs EPG daily (crontab), and hosts it internally (thanks to lighttpd). TiviMate recognizes it without an issue.

Moreover my Pi hosts a Plex server, a Torrent server, a Spotify "Listen to Device" and a standalone Spotify Player (Mopidy, anyone in the lan can play or add songs to queue).
