Hello. I am looking for IPTV app that uses Apple TV native playback engine instead of VLC.
VLC messes up Closed Captioning and I can customize native player Closed Caption from Apple TV accessibility setting.
If there’s any app do send me a screenshot or photo the player so I know it’s legit using native playback engine. Price does not matter.
I use iPlayTv it is vey good and also you can use GSE Smart IPTV
I messaged iplay tv developer and the response was natively it uses VLC but you can choose the native MPV player in settings and this will allow closed caption.
But here is a snag. Most of my IPTV channels won’t play when I select native player but Closed captions work.
I would recommend Stalker it's the best App
I don't know what engine this uses, but I use iPlayTV and it works so well. I think it was five or ten USD.
