Streaming device recommendation

I have a firestick 2nd gen and it buffers a lot I have followed all the tips like clearing cache and even reinstalling. This doesn't happen on my phone, laptop or pc just the firestick. Is it the firesticks memory cap that is the problem because when I look at how much storage is being taken it is at 2.20 GB left but still buffers channels like NFL Gamepass, ESPN, and NBA channels

you can always get an otg cable and hook up a flash drive to it. but also disable featured content or get a 4k, runs quicker

There are many factors that go into why you’re having issues. Switching devices is not the magical answer. Let’s dig to the root.

  • What’s your WiFi download speed on the Firestick (use analiti)?
  • How far away is the Firestick from the router?
  • Are you logged into 2g or 5g with WiFi?
  • How many apps are running in the background (use Background Apps & Process List to force stop them all)
  • What app are you using on the Firestick to stream?

Let me know and we’ll go from here.
