Use the Firestick 4k for all of your streaming applications, no real need for a smart tv. Issue with most smart tv's is lack of updates to software/hardware plus lack of hardware features, such as memory,processor used and others. FireStick4k goes on sale at Amazon Prime day coming up in October. Less than forty dollars.

You could go first class with a Nvidia Shield, however, overkill for just IPTV.

I prefer having a stand alone device rather than relying on built in ATV which is often low specced.

If you purchase an android TV ie Sony that has an android operating system then you will be able to download apps to use for iptv.

Android TV is best.. Amazon devices has a lot bloat + is very restricted.

I've never had a problem running iptv on my android TV. You can sideload apk files directly or sideload Aptoide to be able to install apps just like the playstore.

I use appletv for iptv recently and it's just better.

But I also have both and the firestick is slow, but the Toshiba fire is still going strong.. I carry the TV around the house to diff rooms and outside in patio.. It pretty much lives below my main tv in living room now for football and ufc..

Can hack both the same really but may need to use different apps to do it

For me it is Fire TV, because it is more stable, faster and also smarter.

I have a Sony Android TV and run IPTV through it even got a VPN on it as well, no problems, had it for 2 years, just make sure it is a proper Android TV

Fire tv wasn't that great when I tried it bit slow and buffered a lot. Nvidia Shield is great but expensive. Am not sure if i understand your ques , but personally i have LG smart tv , i bought an amazon firestick and run it on streamsflix iptv sub , works perfect for me . also with the amazon firestick i have netflix, amazon ext..

TiVo 4K isn’t bad either way better than firestick and better than 4K firestick.

Android TV experience but way below Shield pricing.

I have android tv on my Sony X950G, I still use my shield though instead of the tv but could well do without the shield.

Android tv it doesn’t need to upscale the image as it direct unlike using a fire stick, android box etc etc. As long as you are clearing cache on the app that you are using shouldn’t have a problem

Don't waste money on a Smart TV, they're almost always laggy, choppy, etc. Buy the best non-smart TV and get yourself a Firestick or an Android TV device. Both will work perfectly for you so choose one which you prefer. Wait a few days, for the new Googlr Chromecast to launch and get that one for the best experience.
