IPTV Smarters guide issue, need help.

I've been using IPTV Smarters perfectly fine for over a year on my Nvidia Shield TV (2017 model), and a couple of days ago randomly started having an issue where it gets stuck on 'Downloading TV guide' screen after pressing install EPG. Here are the things I've already tried:

  • unplugging the shield and rebooting
  • uninstalling the app and re-installing
  • clearing app cache
  • downloaded tivimate to check, and EPG works/loads fine on there

Anyone run into this issue before, or have another idea for me to try and troubleshoot? Thanks.

I had the same issue but it's resolved when i try another server URL, that seems an issue with the playlist because if you uninstall the app, then there should not be any problem

Use tivimate then if it works fine on it, it's way way better, leagues ahead of smarters anyway.

Xciptv is just a shit app. Either use gse smart iptv app or smarters

Best thing to do is go to change user -> press and hold OK on user -> relogin...

This will also help when playlist is not updating channels.
