This is a great device so far, the remote is the best I’ve ever used seriously! What are some things to look for when searching for a new provider? IPTVX APP is asking for M3U link.... I’m trying to set this up to watch live domestic tv 📺 I switched from a MAG254 so this is a huge upgrade
iPlayTV, while not perfect, is the IPTV app I always go back to.

In the last 72 hours I was playing with iSTB on both the iPad and ATV4. Very impressed with the app, Much better than StbEMU Pro on the firestick 4K. Costs $11 US but works on up to 6 devices for this fee. Only concern is to make sure only one device is hooked up at a time with the same MAC. address , as coverage can be cancelled if more than one device is hitting it at a time . There is a Lite version that lets you test your settings before you have to commit $.

If your provider uses MAC addresses, there is iSTB ( https://apps.apple.com/us/app/istb/id1497473331?ls=1 ) for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
iprotv, was using iplaytv but iprotv have nicer ui, more features like records and available for iPad and iphone with sync data over devices. But I hope it have nicer icon 😂
GSE + iPlayTV are the best options IMO
So I have an Apple TV 4K and I use the following two apps for IPTV : GSE- stream seem to work flawlessly it has an EPG but not a fan of it or it’s layout . iPlayTV- wonderful epg but tends to have stream issues at times

I am not a fan of Apple products lack of control and need to jailbreak to use something you already own. With Tivimate you can map a drive and use DVR. I personally use the Shield and have no problem spending the money on something that I can use without jailbreaking.

Unfortunately the right answer is.... Why didn't you buy a shield? There's still time. Return it. Great devices but awful for iptv.
