Weird issue

Question

I downloaded Kodi as well as other apk addons for IPTV And movie streaming services. Since then every night around the same tune my internet will disconnect for a few seconds then reconnect. Could this possibly be correlated to me using and downloading these services? Maybe malware? Thoughts?

I’ve also been getting very strange texts from people and my number was placed on a craigslist add. Is this form being required to add my number to make accounts on IPTV services?

Normally you will get a new IP every 24 hours, so you will lose connection for a few seconds. To avoid this in the future, reboot your router at a time you are not watching, so it will then assign new lease every 24 hour at that time
