Firestick 4k Vs dedicated box e.g z8

Anyone know the pros and cons of the two? Looking to get a Firestick 4k (for cheap given its prime day soon!) but is the UI that much slower than the Z8 which is a dedicated box from my understanding?

They both have similar RAM and CPU cores so what makes the Z8 better, is it just the faster wifi? I want to know if it's worth spending £100 more on the Z8.

These are my opinions.

  • 4K Firestick is very inexpensive and works extremely well at the price point if you are just watching TV, Live TV, Netflix, Prime and such. this device is hard to beat.
  • x96s more power than the firestick a bit clunky to use but also a solid device. If you like to install random crap and need the space this device it nice. can be bought for just a bit more than the firestick if you look around.
  • BuzzTV Stick I love this device sleek finished look. Plenty of room to apk's works killer for tv applications. My favorite device can be bought for about $80USD

Still if your looking for simplicity and ease of use the Firestick is hard to beat IMHO.

Firestick 4k is a winner for the most part.

You need to make sure you use TiviMate app. TiviMate blows other boxes out of the water.

All the boxes are overpriced weak android devices offering a limited system with one tv app that you really pay the premium buck.

TiviMate cost around 6 bucks a year, and you get to use it on 5 devices at once. Which means you can do multi room setup for 6 dollars.

If you want z boxes it would cost you couple hundreds of dollars.
