I've been on the search for an Ethernet adapter for my firestick to bolster my connection, but looking at a few third party Ethernet adapters for the firestick many of them state that the adaptor does not work at all with VPNs

Does any one have one of these attached to their firestick? Is it the same case with an original ethernet adaptor provided by Amazon?

Does the vpn work with IPTV with one of these attached? Or would it be better to just setup a WiFi extender and just use WiFi.

Note. My WiFi signal is strong but on occasion my firestick disconnects from the WiFi
