GSE definitely works. You have to press the tv icon in the top right of the app, select the target device and then go to your channel list and click the desired channel and select cast. Good luck.

Does GSE works properly with chrome cast? I’m just afraid of some input lag or buffering
I use iptvsmarters iOS app. It’s for a paid subscription though. 6000 channels
You can use iProTv (iPhone, iPad and apple tv) you can open any media (live, movies, tv shows, catch-up..) in vlc app then chromecast to your tv/box.
Why using vlc app : natively, chromecast supports limited number of video formats ( https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/media ) but providers uses other videos formats so the super vlc team created a custom player to play any kind of videos.
And iProTv app supports syncing between devices, 6 user profiles, live channels recording, airplay and picture in picture (if you choose to play videos with iOS/tvOS bative player), creating custom categories, hiding categories, epg and much much more :)
PS: im the app developer.
The iSTB apps supports it via the VLC app for supported video formats.
New to iptv game.. I’m familiar with the IPTV players for Apple TV but what IPTV service work with these players?
