try a different location with your vpn
Don’t forget to change your time zone
What VPN and which Fake GPS app are you using?
Try ExpressVPN on your computer to enter the URL to get the code to authorize with your mobile. You'll want to use the ExpressVPN mobile app with your Wifi turned off and using the same location on your phone as the location on your computer. Download Fake GPS Free and go to the location of your choice (your "Home location"). You will want to make sure you have the Youtube TV app on your phone, but don't open until the last step. Use the Chrome browser to enter the URL or go to the YTTV app. It will ask you to login with your YTTV Google Account. Do that and enter the code....this is how I've been able to activate since the Chrome Browser location trick stopped working.
Use Chrome Location Guard extension
YouTube TV - Current playback area is not accepting geo location from location spoofing apps on android mobile. On laptop, location guard works. But laptop is not able to share this with mobile. Unfortunately without this, locals will not work anymore, but DVR still works.
I'm actually having the same exact issue with my Note 10 (FakeGPS with Surfshark) BUT, I have a Galaxy S2 tab and as of right now its still working fine.
Damn, this was pretty important for me. Hopefully there's a fix floating out there. Good news is for anyone who doesn't want to load the fake location extension, you can also turn on the Fake GPS app and use the 'verify on mobile' option to trick the browser to use a different location.
There’s an ext on chrome browser that worked when I had YTV. You could set location via map. Don’t have ytv anymore. Can’t remember ext. it only worked on my computer though
