I have an IPTV app on my TV, as well as my phone and PC, all with the same list, it works ok on PC, but for my TV, it only works when i'm routing from my 4G, never from my residential network.
Is it possible that my provider can control the traffic on the TV but not on the PC?
Has any one seen dealt with this before? Thanks in advance.
I used to work for a company that sold traffic shaping devices to ISPs. They shouldn't be making a distinction between PC vs. TV. Are you using the same software on the PC and TV? e.g. Kodi? If not, what software are you using in each case?
It's possible the traffic looks different, but it seems a little unlikely they're throttling IPTV traffic unless they know for sure it's from an illegal source. Have you tried using a VPN to see if that changes the behavior?
Provide a bit more info and I'll try to help you troubleshoot.
