Looking for server recommendations that offer mpeg-dash as an input. All the servers I’ve looked at seem to only ingest hls and rtmp.
Looked at flussonic, nimble, ant, red5.
Any suggestions?
Currently using ffmpeg but it’s not sustainable for over 100+ sources.
Just to clarify, you're looking for some sort of caching server? I use one in my day job, but it proprietary and expensive. I'd be interested in hearing options as well.
Try nginx with the rtmp plugin. Using it currently for some non-IPTV work and it’s awesome. I imagine it’d scale pretty well so long as you’re not doing any transcoding.
Clarification: I’m looking for server software, not an IPTV service
