Connection control

by jhb50

I have bought a 2 connections/device service. How do they control it? If I start a stream on a third device will it just fail to connect? I know each stream link has my id and pw so they should be able to control how many I have active. Any other way they can monitor/control it? Thanks.

Depends on provider. Could be by a mac address or could be via account activity. Eg you use a login and pass on the url for the stream so they know if more than two login accounts are streaming

if i start a 3rd stream, all that happens is one of the previous 2 streams going just stops.

Very much depends on your provider. I've streamed past my connections allowed limit and was fine with one provider but then subsequently banned from another providers platform for the same behaviour. I ended up purchasing another connection from the provider that banned me to resolve the issue. I would tread carefully my friend

If I have not provided a MAC to them how would they know which streams to validate if I used across 3 devices?

mac is not used here

last stream is kept alive, all previous active streams are getting disconnected in 60 seconds

I use 2 most of the time on a 1 connection deal. Always been fine but I don’t know your supplier, they could be funny about it
