I have an IPTV app on my firestick, though whatever I watch the sound is about half a second behind. My provider said I needed to download a VLC which I have done but it’s made no difference. Any ideas how to sync through a VLC?

Also, try setting video output to VLC player rather than native
Set the firestick audio to stereo
are using external speakers or bluetooth. that can sometimes cause a delay?
Maybe try going to TOOLS and then to TRACK SYNCHRONIZATION
