I’m not very good at understanding device specs, how does the cube cpu stack up vs the shield pro? It seems like it is definitely an upgrade from the Fire TV stick 4k.

I haven't used the nvidia shield, but i picked up a fire cube 4k during prime day. The cube works fantastic and i have had no issues so far with anything. It works with iptv like a charm, loads fast, has decent built in ram and storage, plus you can, expand storage with SD or Usb card.
In my opinion, in terms of hardware, nvidia shield is the best box you can get. Firecube 2nd gen has specs that are comparable to the shield but less price tag.
So i guess it comes down to budget. Both shield and firecube 2nd gen are amazing
The shield is objectively better. The question is whether you actually need it to be better?
If the FireTV Cube is sufficient for your needs, then the Shield Pro is nearly triple the money for no gain.
I'm of the opinion that the Cube is sufficient for the vast majority of people
I had a shield for five years,went for the cube 2 months ago,the only thing i miss about the shield is the extra ram otherwise the cube is as fast with a better interface in my opinion (I’m not arsed about gaming) if just streaming go for the cube,u won’t regret,if a cube ever gets 3gb ram would be sweet
In terms of IPTV land, they are both going to run IMPlayer or Tivimate just as well as the other, and that's that.
In terms of VOD land, Fire devices don't support DTS so if you have a nice home theater you're looking to take advantage of, keep that in mind.
I’ve not used the Fire TV Cube 4K but did have the normal Fire TV 4K stick and have since upgraded to the Nvidia Shield. I must say that apps such as Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby function better on the FireStick. However, the Nvidia shield is by far quicker and this is considerably noticeable when loading up and navigating channels. Additionally, there’s better compatibility with the shield as it is Android - for example you can quite easily set up retro game emulators on the shield and hook up your PS4 controller via bluetooth which is decent! On top of this, the shield has AI 4K upscaling which makes a difference visually! I wouldn’t necessarily bother getting the shield pro if you’re not going to be running games on the shield or need the Plex server app as the standard TV version is more than sufficient 👍🏻
No comparison at all. But get a formuler lol but fire anything is garbage for iptv
Firestick= Garbage
Class dismissed .
Cube has an issue, the ethernet port is not gigabit it allows you to only 100mb/s up/down , but is enough for most of the streaming services. I personally have a nvidia shield and I'm really happy with it.
The Nvidia shield pro is the best android device on the market Shield = Lamborghini Firecube = Toyota carry Firestick = moped
