Hi all. Relatively new to IPTV but have a provider and I find that some of the channels the EPG is not correct for certain channels. Is this one of the reasons to create your own EPG?
Anyone have any good tutorials on how to do this?

Pretty common for epg to not be accurate for some providers. If you want to mess around with editing epgs start with m3u4u. Would also need to find a epg source since you aren’t happy with yours
Get you a raspberry pi, setup tvheadend with your IPTV. Also setup iptv-utils, and enable the relevant epg in tvheadend. Make sure you merge the same streams so there is only 1 of them (and set the priority for them too). It's a bit more hands on, but once you've set it up initially, you'll have much more stable streams, and better quality guide. Highly recommended.
tivimate allows you to assign 2 epg urls so you can assign m3u4u , for example, and your provider or another source to your list
What device are you running it on?
Are you updating the EPG?
Get a better provider.
Get a Formuler box. That has it's own app. My TV online app. Very reliable. Never have to clear cache, updates it's own epg.
