Alternative to XML-TV EPG?

by MARTlNl

So I turned on my TV this morning and the guide is missing. I figured I forgot to renew my EPG sub with XML-TV. Went on their website and they have shut their doors. Anyone have a quality alternative? I just tried m3u4u and it does not compare. All my channels are USA.

Edit: M3U4U was the way to go

I use www.epg.best they have been pretty good so far.

I use SchedulesDirect, however that is combined with TVHeadend. Not sure if they provide xmltv format.

Watching as my xml-tv is gone and my providers epg is empty too. Maybe they use xmltv too

So is this an app in itself? Like Tivimate?

Try with Xstream code or with new stalker portal, talk about TiviMate.

Use Emby -- they supply the guide data for free. They're the equivalent of Schedules direct but without a limit on sources -- works great for USA content. Emby uses the client/server model though rather than doing everything at the endpoint.
