My Fire Stick works fine but I have some serious issues with Amazon devices and privacy and they seem to be getting worse.
I was wondering if there's an alternative device that will do the following for maybe under $100ish:
-StbEmu (or similarl iptv app)
-Prime Video
-Youtube
-Kanopy (this is a library streaming service app on Google Play)
This is likely going to be slightly over that amount but I know there are some decent deals on the nvidia shield tv. The new generations AI upscaling is unreal. First time that upscaling was a meaningful upgrade that I have witnessed.

Beast device there is for IPTV and Prime/YouTube/Netflix et al.

The new chromecast with google tv is really good. It has a remote and uses android TV. Basically the same as the shield.
Get yourself a Formuler Z8 Pro and pocket all the money saved over the overpriced overhyped shield. Unless you plan to game heavily the shield is a waste. The formuler also comes loaded with Mytv2 which is miles beyond STB emu. Widevine L1 support for prime and full 4k YouTube. Low end try the 4k firestick. Good luck.
What is wrong with a Firestick? The 4k version is probably the most dynamic and reliable device for its price. No complaints
Invest money in a decent service first, poor iptv is poor on the best boxes regardless
