What info is needed to request specific missing channels ?

by Abdel403

So, I don't know how the IPTV signal is extracted, I'm guessing from satellites and then broadcasted online?

Anyway, my questions: I have an IPTV subscription (s) from an online retailer but don't see few channels that I like.

1- What do I need as details to send to the retailer to add them ? I went on Lyngsat and there are some details about the frequencies, satellites and such.

2- One retailer said that he cannot change the package list, what does it mean? being lazy or buying it from others providers ? somethin esle?

Any suggestions how to deal with this, other than changing the provider?

Thanks.

I have made several request to my IPTV service for certain channels and they have added them for me... so you need to find a provider that has access to adding these channels.. when asking them to add a channel all you have to do is tell them the name of the channel that you want and what country...

In my experience most are resellers so they don't have any control over the content - you probably have to switch providers that has the channels you need

There is an associated cost for providers to add channels to the playlist. If the channel is not very popular it does not make any financial sense to add it, that's the real story here.

Some may add them , some may not
