Good Iptv app for Android TV?

by theoware

Does anybody know a good free iptv app which can: record Timeshift and play Streams from an m3u file and has support for EPG for Android TV.

not free, but I think its like $4.99 per year for 5 devices - Tivimate. Seriously, look no further, this is what you want.

TiviMate is the way to go...

Another vote for Tivimate!

I use implayer, works very well. However, Tivimate was my first choice, decided to go with implayer because at the time, it was the only one that could record PVR to NAS. Not sure if that is the case anymore.

Yet, another vote for tivimate. Don't bother trying other apps

tivimate or implayer. both are very good. both have all the same features afaik. both have a free version, but for full features you have to pay. $12 for 2 devices lifetime for implayer, tivimate is like $20 per device lifetime.

Tivimate is without doubt, worth paying the small price as it is leagues ahead of most other apps. The developer is constantly improving and updating it and listens to users comments.

Does tivimate still expand the individual channel on EPG guide when scrolling down?

This drove me crazy however perfect player has been a pita this week and would gladly switch

Vast_Understanding_1

Problem with Tivimate is recording sucks, there's always some skipping. Even on Nvidia Shield.

But for watching TV it's flawless.

If you only need to run on Android devices, there is no doubt that Tivimate is the best choice for the IPTV app, but...

tivimate however i am having a problem with the EPG it does not seem to load all the channels or does not load at all, which is a pain. Any help in fixing that problem would be great. As for the service works great.

Try this one: ottplayer.es. Not sure if it's Android TV friendly, but I'm using it on my Tizen TV, Android phone and PC.
