I installed Simple Client, populated it with my service and merged with Pluto. Unlike Tivimate and Smarters I don't know how to remove groups or channels. They are cluttering up the EPG and I don't speak Thai, Portuguese, etc, etc...

Simple client does not allow you remove groups.  You will need to do that before you add it to simple client.  Edit the m3u list by using a free service like m3u4u website.  There you will be able to edit your list as you see fit and then use the newly generated m3u link to add to simple client.
