Changed router - Smart IP TV doesn't work anymore (Check URL error)

Hey

I changed my router yesterday and after trying to watch Smart IP TV on my samsung it didn't work, it said "Check Playlist Nr. 1 URL". I decided to try my old router again and behold it works again, no problems.

Does anyone have any clues or solutions to why it doesn't work and how I can fix them? thanks

My guess would be the DNS settings are different for the routers. There may also be a cache issue or firewall rule blocking the URL.

Im not familiar with siptv app but all i can think is that you are getting a diff IP address with the new router. Maybe you can start there

It does appear for me aswell, without me changing the router.. I usually just restard the app and the TV, usually works after a while.

Smart IPTV can be a bit funny like this when you change something. I find restarting it several times and/or reuploading your playlist fixes it eventually.

Yes change DNS on the tv google DNS

Based on your error, the tv can't reach the iptv provider to reload the playlist. After changing your router you have tested the internet connectivity to make sure is working properly? After testing you can type 0 in your remote to force reload the playlist.

I know my new orbi router had netgear armor enabled and it was blocking all the IPTV channels. I disabled it and everything started working perfectly again.
