Anyone in Canada finding lately that they need one? I've never used one, but lately I'm getting a lot of buffering or channels not working. I've tried a bunch of stuff, but can't figure out what's wrong. Wondering if a VPN will help.

I toyed with a VPN before, but it screwed up Netflix for me. If I'm using a Firestick, is there a way to set up the VPN so that it helps my IPTV, but doesn't affect my Netflix (also running through the firestick)?
Some ISP do throttle VPNs by a bit.
Also, I switched from wireless to wired ... and saw a HUGE improvement, I guess there must be interference in my appartment or something.
I recommend ExpressVPN, while it is not free, if you encounter any blockage just let them know and they will first give you an alternate location to use, and then within a day or so they will have the location you reported fixed.
I do not encounter any buffering over my VPN setup.
