PSA: IMPOSTER SITES and SCAMMERS beware

by NoPopcornWithThat

Almost every large service out there has imposter sites as well as every service that’s been shut down. when a larger more well known service shuts down, scammers/dirtbags/desperate money grabbing leeches try to capitalize on it, don’t fall prey to this...with Beast shutting down, lots of scammers trying to get your biz. Already heard several stories about this and another well known service.
they will send you emails, poach you thru discord and telegram etc, make fake sites that look like the real thing.
Some posts came thru on this but we will not approve at this time, but if you have a solid service you like, save their ordering info and don’t be misdirected by imposters sites on Google, etc. Google can remove the search results and if you don’t save ordering info, you could be SOL.
Beware.

If you do a google search and it pops up right away. Stay away.

Well is there a list or way to verify genuine services?

No point saying “there is bad guys out there!”

I have a question about this..if I was signed up for a service that closed down...and I got an email from a new service that says they have bought the customers from the previous service and I need to download the replacement service, is this legit? I did download the new service and my previous username and password works on the new service. In fact I am subscribed until my original expiration date from the previous service. They also had me join their discord. It all seemed legit but this post has made me second guess now. Any help is greatly appreciated.
