im not sure everything about Mag boxes, but I asked a few people and they say Mag is better than Android boxes. I wanted to ask viewers that have tried both what they think are better when it comes to Mag boxes VS Android boxes? Also Linux boxes,, Android and Apple are the most used but are they the best or just the cheapest?
In terms of cable like experience boxes like the formulers are good but the shield for android tv is tops...personally I like the firestick with tivimate or implayer...or the new chrome cast with Google tv depending which eco system you use
Mags aren't the best boxes but their the simplest to use hands down. Usually users will buy these types of boxes (Formuler z8 included) for symplicity, foreign content and you'll find most of these mac/stb services have a guide, Vod, and Catchup for most English and Foreign content. Remember these services only allow 1 connection per user. If your interested in a guide for English only and prefer to have more than 1 connection, then a m3u type service with a 4k firestick or a Shield (if you also plan on doing some gaming and have the extra money) would be the way to go.
I have used a number of boxes/platforms over the years. I find the most flexibility and consistency comes from running a good client like Tivimate on an Android box (I use the Shield). And when IPTV is shut down completely you’ll get a lot of use out of your Shield or Firestick.
Whoever told you that has no clue, mags are utter trash.
I have had the pleasure of using most of the better devices on the market and in my opinion nvidia shield tv and pro are easily the best performing devices when it comes to running IPTV services, yes they are expensive but when you've used lesser devices you realise why there that bit more expensive. The Formuler z8 is another box which i have used which is a very good box and is specifically designed for IPTV services. Also the 4k firestick is ok but buy a ethernet converter to make it run faster , Also for best results and performance from any device have them wired through ethernet cable rather than using them WIFI .
Since I started i have been using a Minix box but its been at Android planing to upgrade to their latest model soon. Give this box to my children. Their latest model runs on Android 9 so it should be a big upgrade.
No need to invest on MAG box , get yourself a Android box ( Shield or Google TV or Fire Stick 4K) + r/Tivimate .
