Hi, does anyone use IPTV Extreme Pro on Shield TV? if yes, are there any disadvantages using it, does it work well on Shield? I have iptv extreme pro and tivimate would you consider installing both?

I just started using Tivimate literally yesterday on my current version Shield Pro. The free version has the limitation of manual updating of EPG, but the premium version is $5 I think. A friend suggested using VLC as an external player within the tool as it handles buffering better. Haven't had buffering issues, but will try it out and update my post.
Going to try IPTV Extreme Pro as well. I'll let you know how it goes.
Any of you guys tried implayer? Had 24hr trial of it, for me it seemed buggy, has alot of setting like Tivimate but too buggy for me.
IPTV Extreme Pro app is quite popular IPTV app. There are hardly any drawbacks. They have auto EPG update functionality which is quite useful. You can also try DuplexIPTV app as well
I use IPTV Extreme Pro on Shield, this is from when I just searched by "IPTV" and it's the best among that search word so I paid for the Pro, hehe. I like how I can see the bitrate and set to match frame rate easily as well as a navigation that that is really easy once you just learn back-back-back to quickly get to the good voice search...
BUT, I'm going to try Tivimate as it's just raved about, but if you really don't want to spend a penny more then Extreme Pro is still very solid.

No. I would install tivimate and stop there. It is by far the best IPTV app I have used.
