About the mag boxes

by woodenSpoon4U

Are they known for freezing a lot over time??? Have tried different mag boxes and different updates or roll backs but still the same issue, even with the newer ones. Don't think it's the service (or internet ) because they don't freeze at the same time. I Am fairly new to the hardware that exist out there.

Meh... MAG boxes served a purpose at one time but there are so many great boxes on the market they are really obsolete now.

Tell me exactly what you want to do with your box? TV? Stream 4K? Games? Plex?

Mag sucks get formuler if your in the toronto area I got a z alpha for sale 80 bucks

You may need to delete any cache/data, reboot router etc and see if that improves it. Mag boxes were good at one time, now there are many boxes to choose from. I like formuler z8 box, which will still do mac address as well as xtreme code login so you open up to many services.

Yes, it is true. A lot of freezing happens irrespective of any IPTV. It is better to have an Android device which works fairly better than Mag boxes.

What you guys think from the Zgemma boxes, they look like kind of formular imitations??

I'm in the GTA and have both Formuler and dreamlink options. Happy to respond to requests for quotes and I do ship boxes as well.

I've have a nvidia shield and a Formuler Z8 , the nvidia shields are the best i rarely get any buffering with my iptv provider on the shield, The Z8 's are good but buffer a bit more on the FHD channels for me.

HomesickSurfer

Nvidia Shield with latest Android 11, iptv served with URL and MAC in Stalker client and NextPVR in Kodi. No buffering, clean, fast and accessible

Apparently there are better options than a magbox. I say apparently because I've used one with IPTV for a few years and it still does the job. The issues that happen with me are always because of the stream or the provider. If "freezing" occurs it could be due to many factors but you can't put it down generically to the device.
