ISP throttling all streams?

by milanesa2016

Does ISP throttling affect all streams ? Ive been having an issue for the past week, where my US streams all have buffering issues during the afternoon but not at night/morning, while all my other streams are okay with zero buffering. Does that rule out ISP throttling?

I use tivimate-firestick with wired conection.

Yes, that is a very real possibility. You can purchase a VPN subscription and see if that helps.

“Streams” as you call it are none other than servers in different places where channels are hosted. So, knowing this we can say that sometimes some channels buffer and some dont, Why? Because you may be hitting a channel hosted in a server in NY and your routing to NY is not good, but when you switch to a different channel, that new channel maybe hosted in a server located in LA, and your connection (hops) from your house to LA are ok. Thats why

Ive been having the exact same issue. All my sport streams were being throttled dramatically (buffering every minute for 10 mins and then smooth for like 5-6 mins and then buffering again in a cycle). All other channels are okay. still get throttled but not as bad. Then i got NordVPN and the issue is gone. I am in Toronto with Teksavvy. My IPTV guy has his servers in chicago so when i connect to a VPN, i select Chicago servers and its flawless
