creating your own epg

by juniorvinny

hi guys looking to create my own epg source for a mac activated service via tivimate

any suggestions i know this can be achieved but looking for a stable cheaper priced one and or also a panel source for my service

from my understanding you can i can plug in a url under epg source that is configured for each channel any one can point me in the right direction ?

ive seen a few and its not feasible for multiple users

the reason is my iptv source is great but no epg at all of very minimal

I found it much easier to use streamingtvguides dot com to look up what I want to watch,

www.epg.best is what I've used for my personal epg and it's worked 100%

You can add a epg source to your IPTV source by using something like the xeev https://xtream-editor.com/

What country? I used schedule direct and guide 2 go to pull my xml then I mapped my channels on xteve, I then uploaded my m3u to m3u4u or IPTV editor. I then changed my urls from my channels that where mapping to my local xteve computer to my provider / HDHomeRun. I then opened my port to my xteve imported my egp that was already mapped to my channels. :) then imputed my m3u to my tivimate and my epg to my local xteve :). I have a cron job running on my truenas to run every 14 days to get my guide.

Sounds a lot but worth it :)
