Could my tv be at fault?

by youthemaster22

So my aunt recently bought a new smart tv at Costco for her room. We’ve ran tivimate on a 4K fire stick and everything runs smooth as butter. Then I come downstairs, bought another fire stick 4K and install the same thing as well as an Ethernet adapter and I am faced with buffering issues. Keep in mind our tv is years old (Mitsubishi)

You're saying you took the same firestick and plugged it into the downstairs TV and then got buffering? Or the downstairs has a second firestick?

To answer: your TV won't have any effect

I guess he is not the master

Are you ensuring that you either have a) a multiple line connection from your provider or b) you are certain the connection to your provider on firestick 1 is fully shut before trying on firestick 2? Generally going over your connection limit creates severe buffering

Add a speed test app such as Analiti so you can see exactly what your internet speed is exactly at the FireStick. You can set it to monitor to see if that is your problem. Remember also most internet adapters are capped at letting only a maximum of 100 mbps pass through and lots of providers do throttle speed.

Try playing your service on a different App like IPTV Smarters. If it continues to buffer, then it is either an issue with the internet connection or maintenance on the Firestick. If it stops buffering, then you can determine TiviMate is the issue. Either way, let me know.

Your TV is not the guilty party ... , so keep on giving it lots of love ...

Try using Wi-Fi, you may have a defective/poorly crimped/oxidized crimping points etc. ethernet cable issues. Your Ethernet Adapter might not be optimal.

Fire Stick might have a ton of crap installed and running in the background. Clear caches, internal storage space could be running low.

i would say it's a IPTV connection issue, more like you have got a single connection and trying to use a second is messing with the data limit. but i could be wrong
