I setup my Smart IPTV app on my LG Smart TV and all is working fine. Just a quick question, is there anyway of setting favorit channels or creating a customized group or anything?
My IPTV subscription got 6000 channels, and I have a limited amount I am interested in and don't want to keep searching countless pages to find my channel each time.
Also is there any search functionality as I can't seem to find it.
I haven't used it in years (using tivimate now as you should) but if I remember correctly it's the blue key for favourites.
I haven't seen the Smart setup, but have Smarters installed on an LG smart TV, so they might have a similar UI. There's no way of saving channels as favourites with Smarters. In theory if you select a channel and then hold down the middle button in the remote wheel it will give you his option but with LGs it doesn't work. I've looked on various forums and it's been confirmed
Not sure what version you have but mine has favorites built in. Not super powerful but you can pull a list of channels into favorites and then filter by favorites.
You can by editing the playlist You need to list what channels you want

That is the reason why people suggests using a diff app, or a device like a FS instead of a tv that is not android. The answer i think is no
