I'm trying to get IPTV running on my new Chromecast with Google TV, but none of the ones I have tried will let me connect.
So far I have tried:
I'm connecting through NordVPN, this is working fine on my Android phone, so I should work on Chromecast with Google TV as well I hope?
Ok, so instead of deleting my post in shame, I've decided to leave it here, and instead admit that I, SEVERAL times over, misread an O for a Q in the password 🙈🙈🙈
But the positive aspect here, is that I can verify that IPTV can play on the Chromecast with Google TV.
I've only tested with IPTV Smarters Pro so far, but it works like a charm :-)
I remember a while back i was helping someone that had a nordvpn router and iptv would not work, as soon as he got rid of it and installed his old router it worked. He had a firestick...
Try CosmiTV and/or CosmiDVR by CosmiQuest - in the Google Playstore. They both have recording features but CosmiDVR recording playback wouldn't work on my GoogleTV with Chromecast built in. The programs would record, but couldn't be played back. CosmiDVR used the native "Live TV" as well as the "Live Channels" app for the DVR functions. Come to find out, the TV brand (Philips) had changed something with the DVR database and broke it. So the developer came out with a new app a couple of days ago that is Live Channels and CosmiTV combined into one and now the recording playback works great! Most of all, the developer support and response to the issue was awesome!
I just bought a chrome cast 4K but can’t find the iptv smarters app ? Just a bunch of apps with similarities in the name ? Where can I download this app in my chromecast?
I've had Tivimate running perfectly on this dongle. IMO it works better than Smarters
