Is Kodi a popular choice around here for IPTV player? What do most people use?

by christhebaker

I have always used IPTV Simple Client PVR add-on with Kodi to stream IPTV m3u links. I feel it works "good enough" for me (I don't time shift or VOD, just stream channels). Do any other apps offer some improvements or features I could be missing out on?

Thanks friends.

Does kodi support epg?

I guess I'll have to try out tivimate lol.

I use Kodi to watch pre-recorded media and the UI has a high spouse approval factor, but I find the IPTV to buffer way more with Kodi and ethernet than if I use something like PerfectPlayer on my phone over wifi.

Where can I get it?

The only almost-bad thing about TiviMate is having to switch back and forth into Kodi to watch Scraper/Trakt based media. TiviMate is so good, that I put up with that, going back and forth several times per day. TIVIMATE.

Kodi has a great ui if you want all your media esaily accessable for iptv playback it's not have bad only supports M3U wich kinda sucks if your provider dosent off it
