The TV guide on my LG TV is so slow and non responsive it's too frustrating to use on a 2 grand tele aswel, absolute joke.
I absolutely love Tivi Mate and how responsive it is, I wish I could just use that for my freeview but obviously I can't so can anyone recommend me anything, educate me on something I don't know?
I don't care about all these huge illegal iptv resellers, all I want is the basic freeview channels, used with something as wonderful to use like tivi mate.
By Interpreting what you are asking, you would like to watch Free to air Terrestrial TV channels using Tivimate or other.
If im right then I have two options I know of.
HDHomeRun, its a box you plug into a TV Aerial and then Ethernet, and lets you watch TV on any device connected to your home Network/Wi-Fi using their App (People have found ways to generate an M3U playlist from the box meaning you can use it with Tivimate)
Any off the shelf TV capture card or dongle (i.e Hauppauge) connected to a personal server, and some software to broadcast to m3u or other such as TVheadend
Option number 1 is easiest, but both options require some setup and upkeep
