App Privacy

by Rossiant

Can an IPTV server tell (and log) which app is being used to access the service, or just the IP address and IPTV user details?

For example if somebody signs up to IPTV without using their personal details and uses a VPN for their IP address, would there be any information to show that that IP address watched the IPTV via Tivimate, which may be logged in with personal details and paid for with a personal credit card?

Most Providers suggest using a VPN for their service (or at least the ones i know) so unless your provider specifically says "IP Locked", i think you would be ok. and my panel doesn't show the app used, just IP address. best of luck

My panel shows me what app people are using to access the service, but there's no way to extract anything from that app.

Hi. I do not know for sure, but technically the iptv could log the user agent that did the request. I am saying that i do not know for sure because i do not know if iptv apps will even use it.

Even if they did know it is tivimate you are using, the level of information will stop there. Tivimate will not share the account used to purchase the license, let apart the credit card used.

I hope this gives you some peace of mind, you seem new to this.
